What we treat

Hands-on care, from newborns to grandparents

Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension and support the body's own healing. Every appointment starts with a full case history and assessment, so treatment is matched to what we find.

General osteopathy

Back and joint pain, neck and shoulder discomfort, headaches. We work to find the root cause rather than treat the site of the pain alone, and give advice on posture and exercise to help keep symptoms from returning.

Initial appointment from £65

Pelvic health

A dedicated appointment for pelvic pain, continence concerns, prolapse symptoms, constipation and bowel function, discussed in a supportive and professional environment. Internal assessment is offered, never assumed.

Initial appointment £80

Mummy MOT

A comprehensive postnatal check, however long ago you gave birth. Bowel and bladder screening, scar tissue assessment, posture, pelvic floor, tummy gap, plus a recovery programme built around what the assessment finds.

Assessment and rehab programme £95

Pregnancy and post-natal

Safe, gentle techniques at any stage before and after birth, using a specialist pregnancy pillow in clinic. For pelvic and back pain, neck and shoulder discomfort, and preparation for birth, vaginal or caesarean.

Initial appointment from £65

Babies and children

Babies' skeletons are softer and more complex than an adult's, so we use gentler techniques such as cranial osteopathy. Every child is assessed at the first consultation to see what might help.

Initial paediatric appointment from £65

Infant feeding support

One-to-one guidance from the start to the finish of your feeding journey, in clinic or at home. Gayle is a FEDANT registered breastfeeding counsellor and both osteopaths have trained in tongue tie assessment.

Initial consultation £65

Women's health

A place to be listened to, and never judged

Align was founded by Gayle Jordan to provide inclusive, supportive care for women and their families. Women's health osteopathy addresses the changes brought about by pregnancy and the post-natal period, and the gynaecological issues that follow through to menopause and beyond.

Many women are very good at carrying on despite symptoms that affect their quality of life. A pelvic health appointment is a dedicated space to talk about them. Every appointment is tailored to your symptoms, your goals and your stage of life.

  • Pain during intercourse
  • Urinary leakage
  • Bowel leakage

In a patient's words

“I had an internal pelvic assessment, followed by treatment on some trigger points that Gayle found. The treatment was not painful and Gayle made me feel completely relaxed the whole time. I was also given guidance on pelvic floor exercises. The difference after one treatment was extremely noticeable.”
Debbie, July 2021. Published on the clinic's website.
